While I'm having my latest paranormal book, "Guardian Investigations: A Matter of Time" edited, I'm working on two books. One is my next children's book, "Adventure Street Kids," which is a middle grade fiction book based on true events. That book has a group of characters as the heros, ages 9-11years. I'm on the planning/plotting stage and will be contacting an artist I met at another book event to do the illustrations and book cover. I will keep you posted on that one.

The book I've been working on the most lately is: "Are You My Irish Cousin?" I'm researching the Quinns, Conways, Fallons, and Gardiners. I'm having fun with this one because I'm discovering more and more people I'm related to. I've also learned that the people who do the census every ten years have terrible handwriting and either can't spell, or the people they speak to have such heavy accents, that they get the names wrong. I'm having to find more than one source to verify that I have the right person. What I've found is that I can spend a few minutes doing the research and when I look at the time, I find that hours have passed and not minutes!

When I put this book together, I plan to do some history of the Irish as well as my individual families that I'm working on. If you haven't tried researching your family, I would suggest Ancestry.com. I started this journey back in 1979 with word of mouth from living relatives. But using Ancestry has made this journey much easier and faster.

This coming Saturday, February 28th, I will be at Wordfest in Sevierville, TN (1250 Middle Creek Rd) from 9-3pm. If you are in town, stop by and see me. At this time, this is the only book event I have planned for this year. I'm saving my money for advertising and marketing.
