Releasing the Guardians

The month of April has always been special to me. I have so many things to look forward to--my birthday, my anniversary, Easter, spring flowers, more sunshine (usually). But this month, what's left of it, I have a new release of a book that I started in 2023. I had written the first chapter in the back of my book, Nephilim. It wasn't until 2025 that I was able to work on it and it still took over a year to write it.

Guardian Investigations started out as a contest in my newsletter. I needed a name for a private investigation agency, featuring a husband and wife team who left the Miami-Dade Police Department so they could work together. One of my book reviewers won the contest. The prize would be a character in the story. So, Crystal Stewart is not only one of my reviewers, but is now a character in the story. I liked the name she suggested so much that I used it for the title of the book.

The story was delayed partly because I was distracted by the things going on in the world and partly because of the plot. But sometime late in 2025, it started to come together. I decided to use some of the events going on in the world (the things the media refused to report).

Many of you may already know that we've been in a spiritual battle for some time now, but it's been intensifying lately. Since my story is about a character who was a Guardian Angel, who trained other "Guardians," the title was perfect. And since his friend is an angel, the story dwells on spiritual battles. The main character, Elena, has become more spiritual due to her circumstances and being married to a former angel. She tries to stress the need for her family to believe her warnings, because she has special insight into what is going on behind the scenes. But as families go, they tend to brush her off until they realize she was right.

I hope this story inspires people to stay on guard against the forces of evil because the closer you get to God, the more evil will attack you. (Kind of like what is happening to our president right now)
