Launching A New Book

My latest Work In Progress (WIP) is Guardian Investigations. I started about two years ago when I asked my VIP Reviewers Group to help me choose a title for the story. As part of the request, it became a contest so that the person with the winning entry would also be a character in the story. I started the story in the fall of 2024 and have just now finished it. I usually don't take that long to write a book, but I suffered from a creativity 'funk' during that time and I feel the 'mojo' is now coming back.

I recently finished my rewrites and will be putting the manuscript together as one file to be sent off to the editor. During that time, I will be tweaking the book cover and getting the promos ready to launch and promote the book.

I want to thank Crystal Stewart for her title suggestion and for the character in the story.

Crystal has been with me almost since the beginning. She reviews my books and sometimes gives me tips and ideas on things when she responds to the newsletters. It's people like Crystal that makes writing fun for me! I really appreciate Crystal for all she's done and for sticking by me all this time.

Here's a description of the story: Elena and Pete Cummings operate Guardian Investigations in downtown Miami, Florida. A fledgling private investigative firm, they take any and all cases. But when the first case earns them a cosmic device, they are able to solve a lot of cases very fast. While using their wits and talents, the two stumble across a vacant house that later pops up in more than one investigation. When the two check in on a friend and her infant son, they find the baby is missing and the mother is unconscious. The cosmic device helps them go back in time to save the baby and his mother and they realize they are being targeted by satanists who seek an infant for sacrifice. Will Elena and Pete be able to stop the demon-possessed satanists from kidnapping and killing their own young nephews, or will their actions be too late?

Now all I have to do is design a cosmic device that I can use in the book cover, and maybe as a graphic for SWAG. Here's the latest draft of the book cover front and back:
